FEBRUARY 8, 2026
One of our veterans, Marine extraordinaire, Tom LaRosa, got an invite to partake in a tower hunt with a local club thanks to Mike “Critter”, of Sea Isle Bait and Tackle. Tom said he had a fantastic day, met a lot of great people, and had a ton of fun.

FEBRUARY 26

This was our 4th year at the Boat Show. We had a good location in the back aisle. This is the first year we had help from our own Auxiliary Unit.

MARCH 25, 2026

At our Post meeting, Quilts of Valor came and presented 9 Veterans with a Quilt. All but one are members of our Post.

MARCH 26, 2026

Commander Archer signed the applications for the 3 Boys chosen for our Post to sponsor for Boys State in June. They are from Ocean City High School.

MARCH 30, 2026

Commander Archer presented the 3 Winners of our annual coloring contest. They are all from Upper Township Elementary School.

Principal Andrea Urbano, 2nd place Molly McHale, 1st place Molly Persun and 3rd place Marc Drabkowski.

APRIL18, 2026

With only 10 people completed a road cleanup on CR631 starting at the Library, going east all the way to the Bridge.

Weather was nice. We were unable to do this last year due to weather conditions.

Our Post put flags out on the area cemeteries that we are tasked with. There to help is Butch Meher, Bill Eisele, Hos Scheibein, Jim MacDonald, Bob Thompson, Ray Lambert, Doug Ruth, Andy Klain, Bud Rutter and Tom Garrity. Commander Archer took the picture.

At the end of our Post meeting, New Commander Dan Colasante takes over the Post. Commander Archer is passing on the gavel.

Memorial Day service at Osprey Point.

At the Convention Post 239 receives an award for 110% in Post growth over last year. Commander Archer accepts the award.

Ed Fisher came to check out the vendors at the convention and met up with Dennis Reed and Bill Archer.

The new family for Children's Organ Transplant Association told their family's story and out in the corridor Alvin Shepiro and Dennis Reed got to spend some time with them.

Buddy Walk time  and weather was perfect. Dan Pavese, Alvin Shepiro and Bill Archer did the walk.

On the left there was a breakfast for the Buddy walk participants. The American Bombshells performed. 

Later, After the breakfast the parade went down the boardwalk and Commander Archer marched with Wildwood Auxiliary Unit 184.
