A SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR WOMEN AND SONS ASSOCIATED WITH MEMBERS:
There are two other ways that non-members associated with this Post's membership can get involved with helping the interests of the Post:
Grandmothers, mothers, sisters, spouses, and direct and adopted female descendants of eligible veterans are encouraged to form a "Women's Auxiliary" organization with the purpose of supporting the charitable efforts and goals of Post 239
... and ...
Sons and grandsons of eligible veterans are encouraged to form a separate "Sons of the American Legion" organization to assist Post 239 members directly or to conduct other independent activities supporting the American Legion's mission.
