A SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR WOMEN AND SONS ASSOCIATED WITH MEMBERS:
There are two other ways that non-members associated with this Post's membership can get involved with helping the interests of the Post:
Grandmothers, mothers, sisters, spouses, and direct and adopted female descendants of eligible veterans are encouraged to form an "Auxiliary" Unit with the purpose of supporting the charitable efforts and goals of Post 239
... and ...
Sons and grandsons of eligible veterans are encouraged to form a separate "Sons of the American Legion" Squadron to assist Post 239 members directly or to conduct other independent activities supporting the American Legion's mission.
